Welcome to Alheraf Platform, a platform dedicated to empowering artisans and connecting them with the community through selling handcrafted products and offering workshops and events that promote creativity and traditional crafts. By accessing our website, mobile application, or related services (collectively referred to as the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Platform.
1. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to the website, application, and related services of Alheraf Platform.
- "Artisan" refers to a registered user who offers and sells handcrafted products or provides workshops and events on the Platform.
- "Customer" refers to a registered user or visitor who purchases products or books workshops or events through the Platform.
- "User" refers to any individual who uses the Platform, including Artisans and Customers.
- "Products" refers to handcrafted, custom-made, or artisan goods listed for sale.
- "Workshops & Events" refers to in-person or online activities (live or recorded) available through the Platform.
2. Eligibility
- To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have legal consent from a parent or guardian.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if false information is provided or these Terms are violated.
3. Account Registration
- Artisans must create a verified account to list products or offer workshops and events.
- Customers may create an account or proceed as guests.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to notify Alheraf Platform immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Artisan Responsibilities
- All products must be original, handcrafted, and compliant with Platform guidelines.
- Artisans must provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and shipping or workshop details.
- Artisans are responsible for fulfilling orders and delivering products or conducting workshops/events on time.
- Prohibited items include counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, or anything that violates intellectual property laws.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must review product or workshop details carefully before purchasing or booking.
- Payments must be made through approved Platform payment methods.
- Customers agree not to request unjustified refunds or cancellations.
6. Pricing & Payments
- Artisans set their own prices; however, the Platform may charge transaction or service fees.
- Payments are securely processed through approved payment gateways.
- The Platform may hold payments if fraudulent activity is suspected.
7. Intellectual Property
- All content, logos, and designs on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Alheraf Platform.
- Artisans retain ownership of their products and content but grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and market them.
- Users must not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without permission.
8. Prohibited Activities Users may not:
- Post false, misleading, or harmful information.
- Engage in harassment or abusive behavior.
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Platform.
- Sell or offer illegal or prohibited products or services.
9. Shipping & Delivery
- Artisans are responsible for setting shipping fees and delivery timelines.
- Delays caused by shipping providers or external factors are not the responsibility of the Platform.
10. Workshops & Events
- Artisans or workshop providers are responsible for delivering workshops or events on time and as described.
- Customers are responsible for attending on time; late attendance may result in loss of access.
- Access conditions may vary depending on whether the workshop is in-person or online.
11. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
- Eligibility for returns, refunds, and cancellations is governed by the Platform’s Refund Policy.
- Custom-made products or workshops are generally non-refundable, except in specific cases such as defects or provider cancellation.
12. Dispute Resolution
- Artisans and Customers should attempt to resolve disputes directly.
- If unresolved, the Platform may mediate but is not legally obligated to settle disputes.
13. Limitation of Liability
- Alheraf Platform is not responsible for:
- Losses resulting from transactions between Artisans and Customers.
- Product defects, misrepresentations, or failure to deliver.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
14. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if these Terms are violated or for any unlawful activity.
15. Changes to These Terms
- Alheraf Platform reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated effective date.
16. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
